Journey: From Text to Congregation will bring biblical scholars and preachers together to work on texts and to develop the foundations for multiple preaching series. Participants will acquire valuable exegetical insights and helpful frameworks for sermon development. Additionally, noted preachers will explore homiletical means to rekindling the true joy and promise of preaching. Times of worship, hearing sermons, and the fellowship of other ministers will round out the experience. By offering resources and connection with a larger community of preachers, Journey is designed to help the minister to make the weekly journey from text to congregation. This three-day seminar extends Thursday through Saturday, March 21-23 (beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday and concluding at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday).
