Dancing with the Abilene Stars raises half a million dollars for Hendrick Home for Children

Committee member Sarah Stevens says the event draws strong support from the whole Abilene community, “I think this event is really special because I think it brings people from a whole lot of different areas of the community together and it takes people out of their comfort zone a lot of time but shows how willing people are to step out of their comfort zone for such a good cause.”

11 local dancers paired with local professionals competed in this year’s event.
