As Texans cast early ballots in the General Election, Texas voters can choose between two candidates for House District 71.

Republican Stan Lambert is the incumbent facing a challenge for the second time from Democratic candidate Linda Goolsbee.

Lambert is currently serving his fourth term in the Texas House of Representatives and serves on the Business and Industry Committee, and the Finance, Investments, and Financial Services Committee.

He’s running for reelection on a platform promoting what he calls “Big Country Values” advocating for small government, addressing immigration and border security, protecting the state ban on abortion, and supporting better education among several other issues.
