When current Place Two Abilene City Council Member Jack Rentz announced he would not run for re-election, it opened the race for anyone who lives south of the Texas and Pacific Railroad Company mainline to make a run.  Garrett Hubbard saw his chance.  He has been planning to run for political office for years and filed to add his name to the ballot on the first day the city accepted applications.  KACU's Allie Jones asked him about his candidacy and his goals for serving on the city council.
