Back in 2008, Abilene Public Radio partnered with the non-profit organization, StoryCorps. Through our partnership, StoryCorps visited Abilene and allowed people to share their stories. From the happiest of times to the darkest of days, people shared their stories, forever memorializing them for future generations.
As StoryCorps celebrates their 10th anniversary, KACU's Meagan Freeman spoke with Dave Isay, the founder of StoryCorps about the organization's success and his latest book, "Ties That Bind: Stories Of Love and Gratitude From The First Ten Years of StoryCorps". Here is our conversation:
