COVID has been on the rise since June. The latest numbers from the Abilene Taylor County Public Health District show that more than 1,500 Abilenians have active cases of the virus, though those are only the cases confirmed by healthcare providers. These days many people are using home tests that can't be included in official numbers.

Doctor Gary Goodnight, an ear nose and throat specialist who serves as the Health Authority for the Abilene Taylor County Public Health District, updates us on the experience of patients during the latest COVID spike as well as current recommendations.
