Biggest book sale in West Texas even bigger this year

The Friends of the Library sale opens to the public this Friday and organizers say the annual event will be bigger than ever.

Thousands of books will be available at the Abilene Convention Center, as the group hosts its largest fundraiser of the year. Members of the organization get early access Thursday night. And bargain hunters can fill a bag (provided by the Friends of the Library) for $6 on Sunday. Friends of the Library board member Chloe Jonas says there’s a lot of excitement for this year’s sale.
