As citizens of Abilene prepare to cast ballots in the May 3rd municipal elections, voters are deciding among candidates for Abilene’s Place 5 city council race. In the race for Abilene City Council Place 5, incumbent Kyle McAlister is being challenged by Cynthia Alvidrez, a longtime Abilene resident and community advocate.
