Matt Smith runs to replace Jodey Arrington in TX-19

KACU kicked off its series of interviews with candidates for Texas’s 19th Congressional District, with Matt Smith. Smith, who is better known around Abilene as Fatt Matt, is a household name in the Big Country, but a newcomer to politics.
Besides being a small business owner, Matt Smith is a pastor and rancher.
The most recent campaign finance filings show that Smith has raised more than $354,000, the third highest total in this race.
George Levesque spoke with Matt Smith about his run for the 19th Congressional seat and his vision for public service.
