Allison Carroll is one of four candidates for Abilene's Place 4 City Council Seat

Municipal elections are on May 2, where residents of Abilene will vote on place 4 of the City Council.

Allison Carroll moved to Abilene in 2001. She received her psychology degree from Abilene Christian University. In 2015 she bought Monks Coffee Shop, which she ran until earlier this year when she sold the store.

During her time in Abilene, she has served on the Abilene Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, and the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, and she currently serves on KACU's Community Advisory Board.
