Only 3,491 Abilene voters cast ballots in the May election for the Place 4 City Council seat. The four way race ended with Ben Bailey (32.1%) in first place, but not by enough to claim victory outright. He faces the second place candidate Tammy Fogle (26.5%) in the runoff. Early voting is underway through June 9th. And the runoff will be decided on June 13th.
