Republican Tom Sell runs for TX-19 congressional seat

When Jodey Arrington announced he wouldn’t seek reelection, a lot of political hopefuls saw their chance. Seven men signed up to run in the Republican primary for the seat.

Tom Sell got more than twice as many votes as the second place finisher, but not enough to claim victory outright. In the runoff, Republicans made clear they wanted to send Tom Sell to Washington D-C.
