The Republican Party has held the seat since 1986. This year, first time political candidate Diana Luna has put her name in the hat — as the Democrat on the ballot.
Luna is a native Abilinian and graduated from Cooper High School. She has worked for non-profits for almost 20 years and has become the local organizer for The Liberal Moms of Abilene group.
Diana Luna is here to discuss her campaign and talk about what policies matter most to her.
The early voting period begins October 19th and ends October 30th. November 3rd is the midterm election.
