Essie Childers, The Founding Director of Young Ladies Success Seminar
The overall goal of the Young Ladies Success Conference is to expose young ladies in grades 6-12 to collegiate and career opportunities, self-reflection, boost their self-esteem, and empower self-responsibility to create success in school and in life. Childers also recognized the need for a Young Ladies Success Conference after mentoring several young ladies at Tyler Junior College and Blinn College. With the help of family and friends, the summit became a reality February 2013.
