While Murray was careful about making grand promises for her term, she did say McMurry would never get less than 100% from her as president. Especially when it comes to the students, ”Yet it was the students who had the greatest impact on me. In them, I saw myself at their age and wanted to join them and assume this position and make a positive, real difference in your life”. Murray says she can’t wait to begin this journey and connect to the students on the campus.
She is ready to help students grow and she hopes for a bright future for all McMurry students,” So I’m excited to begin this new chapter at McMurry, and I’m honored to be here with Jeff as we begin this journey together. Thank you.”
Murray will officially begin her role as president on January 10th, 2025, following the retirement of Sandra S. Harper.
