Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour
Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour
McMurry University is proud to host the Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour (LSCOL) when they visit Abilene and stop at McMurry’s campus on Nov. 5, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Backyard space.
Now in its 26th year, the LSCOL Bike Tour is a week-long, 500-mile cycling journey across Texas dedicated to raising awareness about the urgent need for blood, marrow, organ, tissue, and stem cell donations. The 12 cyclers come from across the state, and each has a personal connection to donation. Every rider has either donated, received, or had a loved one who was a donor or received a donation.
While stopped at McMurry, riders will provide testimony and share resources and education on donations to students, faculty and staff, and anyone in the community who would like to attend. The Bike Tour continues beyond Abilene with stops in San Angelo, TX, on Nov. 5 and Fredericksburg, Texas on Nov. 8.
