Republican Jodey Arrington first won election to represent Texas’s 19th Congressional district in 2016. He claimed at least 75% of the vote in each of his General Election victories. Arrington is running for his fourth term to represent the district which stretches from his hometown of Lubbock and the panhandle to the Big Country. No Democratic challengers threw their hats in the ring for this year’s election, but Arrington has an independent challenger, Nathan Lewis. The Congressman lays out his position on everything from the economy and gun violence to border security and who he would like to see as the 2024 Presidential nominee in this extended cut of our interview.
