Dr. Jonathan Hill, Chair of the Department of Sociology at Calvin University and an expert on the relationship between faith and science, will give a talk entitled, "Is Science a Carrier of Secularization?: Sociological Perspectives on Faith and Science" at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 in the Auditorium at Highland Church of Christ. The event includes Q and A. Come hear Dr. Hill discuss how faith forms the lives of scientists, and how science shapes religious faith and practice. Dr. Hill has studied the controversy over human origins among the public and what influences Americans' attitudes toward creation and evolution.
