Vying to take his place are Democrat Diana Luna and Republican Jay Hardaway. Hardaway previously served on the Abilene City Council and worked as Congressman Jodey Arrington’s district director and then Stan Lambert’s senior policy advisor and now he works with his family business in Albany.
