Russia launched its first major attack on Kyiv in weeks, as U.S.-led peace efforts to end the war struggled to gain traction.
In a post on X after the attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, “Russia chooses ballistics instead of the negotiating table”.
