Mayoral candidate Hurt focused on the citizens of Abilene

Weldon Hurt is one of three candidates on the May ballot hoping to become the next Mayor of Abilene. The seat is open after Anthony Williams announced he would not seek reelection. Hurt owns Pest Patrol and has lived in Abilene for 25 years. Hurt has also served on the Abilene City Council since his election to Place 4 in 2017. Because Williams is not seeking reelection, he has decided to run for mayor to see a continuation of the good things happening in Abilene.
