Alvidrez bases campaign for City Council Place 3 on protecting the taxpayer

Cynthia Alvidrez is one of two candidates on the Place Three ballot who have experience with campaigning. She ran for a spot on Abilene ISD’s board back in 2018, but was unsuccessful, losing to Danny Wheat. In 2019 Alvidrez unsuccessfully challenged Kyle McAlister for his Place 5 city council seat. In 2020 Alvidrez ran for Mayor, in an effort to unseat Anthony Williams.
