Sargent runs for Place 3, focuses on transparency

Last spring, James Sargent ran for place 5 on the city council, but lost to incumbent Kyle McAlister. He’s trying again to earn a seat, this year running for Place 3, being left open by Donna Albus. Sargent owns the local service garage Auto Aide Repair. His campaign last year centered on making Abilene a Sanctuary City for the Unborn, and now that it is one, his focus this year is on increasing communication and transparency between taxpayers and city leadership.
